Am I supposed to be honest? 'Cause I'm a fan of beards but the grey in Mr BD's beard may..perhaps just a smidge..make him look a little older. Just throwing that one out there.
Also, you live in TX man! It's summer there and according to your wife, nine million degrees out. Doesn't the beard make things a bit toastier? Now if you lived in the wilds of Alaska I could see you fitting in perfectly.
I like it! It suits him. I like facial hair, as long as it's neat. I do like goatees better than full beards--my husband grew one recently and I love it. The nice thing is, they can always grow it for a while, shave it, grow it back...the ever changing husband.

I have always preferred the clean shaven, short haircuts on men. That's why I tend toward the military fellows. (and bald-ish ones). Sorry Mr. BD.

I doubt I really need to comment here, but tell The Man to let whatever crawled on his face to fall off and die already.
I agree with Meg. My hubs has a beard and it is HAWT but it makes him look younger. Mr BD looks better without his.
